Trivio is our first collection designed by Jasper Morrison, a long-awaited collaboration that has matured over time, simmering and full of enthusiasm. The result is a rounded bistro-style table, with solid oak wood legs from controlled timber and a surprising aesthetic. Designed from an ordinary object and turned into something truly extraordinary.

The most distinctive feature of Trivio is its centrepiece, that connects and conveys character to the table and leads to its particular name. In Latin, “Trivium” refers to the space where the three paths of the art of eloquence intersect: Grammar, Rhetoric and Dialectic. These three axes converge in a neuralgic point, Trivio’s connector, made of steel in four versatile colours.

Jasper Morrison (London, 1959) is one of the most renowned industrial designers of recent times. Son of a publicist and a chef’s assistant, Morrison became interested in design thanks to his uncle Terence Conrad, creator of Habitat, The Conran Shop and the Design Museum in London, who introduced him to the furniture of Eileen Grey
